PURPOSE: To lay down the procedure for the cleaning and sanitation of general areas
of production block including service area, passages, change rooms, offices and storage
areas.
SCOPE: This procedure applies for the entire Production Area.
RESPONSIBILITY : The House Keeper.
The Production Officer.
PROCEDURE:
Daily Schedule:
1. Pick up the trash materials from floors.
2. Empty waste bins and reline with plastic bags when necessary.
3.Wash sink and waste pipe using 0.1% teepol solution in water and wipe dry.
4.Wash interior surface of commode bowl using bowl cleaner solution with a bowl mop. Wash exterior surface of bowl seat using 0.1% teepol solution in water.
5.Damp mop all accessible area suing lint free or rubber lined handle mops initially with a 0.1% teepol solution in water, then with plain water and finally with a disinfectant solution.
