PURPOSE: 

To lay down a procedure for cleaning of stirrer used in the manufacturing of liquid injections.

SCOPE:

This procedure applies for the cleaning of stirrer

PROCEDURE:

 1.  Put off the main switch of the stirrer.                                                                              

 2.  Mop clean the surfaces of the body and stirring shaft with hot Water, using a clean

cloth.

3 Unscrew the blades of the stirrer. Clean with a solution of  0.5% Fairgenol in D.M. Water.         4. Rinse repeatedly with D.M  Water and ensure completely removal of the disinfectant.

5. Wipe clean a clean non-shedding cloth & Refix in blades on the shaft.                           

6. Mop Clean the body of the equipment with 0.5% Fairgenol. Rinse repeatedly with D.M. Water

and wipe dry with a clean cloth.     

7.  Affix a status label and date.
