Preventive maintenance is carried out to keep a plant operative smoothly and avoid loss of time due to breakdown and to prevent as function of production
SCOPE:
This procedure applies to the entire plant.

1. Maintenance Supervisor
2. Maintenance Engineer
PROCEDURE :
An effective preventive maintenance is carried out by proper cleaning and greasing of all machines, used in production on quarterly basis and whenever essential, by maintenance staff and contractor.

Log book for all the equipment’s / machines separately indicating the following details.
